72 Hang Shang Pac 6.1.1.4 Ch'ing Yuan. During the last 2 weeks there have been 2 cases of
holding-up of ferry-boats by pirates disguised as
passengers. Ch'ing Yuan is calculated to have more
pirates and brigands than any other District.

Ch'ion Üning. Complaints have been made to the Authorities of the frequency of piracies. Recently a boat was pirated carrying over $10,000 worth of goods for Hongkong.

the former being held for ranson.

killed 1 officer and 2 man of the troops sent
against them.
